Premier Cricket: Mt Lawley goes down to Wanneroo

MT Lawley suffered another loss at the hands of Wanneroo on Saturday in their round 14 Premier Cricket fixture at Breckler Park.

The Roos batting order proved far too powerful in the end, reaching the target of 245 before finishing on 314 all out.

The result leaves the Hawks in 13th spot on the ladder with one round to play.

Callum Taylor was the pick of the bowlers for Mt Lawley with three wickets, with Liam Purdy also important with two.

Wanneroo achieved the target with four wickets in hand, with Jordon King (72) and Bailey Nylander (62) pivotal in the chase.

Mt Lawley will play their final game against last-placed Midland-Guildford on Saturday.
