Soccer: North Perth United players help WA State Amateurs to remain unbeaten on Malaysia tour

TWO North Perth United soccer players have helped the WA State Amateur win all three games on their recent tour of Malaysia.

Paul Rainford and Eamonn Kelly were among 16 players in the state squad that faced NPNG, PKNS and Kelab Sukan Glenmarie United.

Kelly scored one goal in the team’s final 4-2 win over Kelab Suka Glenmarie United.

WA, coached by Rob Pagnoni, also scored a 1-0 win over PKNS and an opening 1-0 success over NPNG.

The annual tour gives the best players from the Amateur Premier League an opportunity to test themselves against Malaysian opposition.
