WACA Premier Cricket: Perth heaps more pain on Mt Lawley

Julian WrightEastern Reporter

PERTH has heaped more pain onto winless Mt Lawley with a dominant batting performance in round 7 of Premier Cricket on Saturday.

Three top-order batsmen reached half-centuries in the process for the Demons in their match at Breckler Park.

Perth eventually finished on 9-348 to close the day, with Mt Lawley struggling to take regular wickets and break partnerships.

Mohamed Ijaz was again the pick of the bowlers with 4-89, while Ian Fishman snared three scalps himself.
