WAFL: dads encouraged to bring kids to footy for the Fathering Project Round

DADS and father figures are encouraged to bring their kids to a WAFL game this weekend as part of the Fathering Project Round.

Held in collaboration with the Fathering Project, the round is a non-for-profit charity supporting fathers and father figures who want to have a positive impact on the lives of children.

Activities planned at WAFL games for the Fathering Project Round include dads and kids running races, kick-to-kick, goal kicking competitions and handball target challenges.

The Fathering Project’s mission is to inspire and encourage fathers and father figures “to be the best dads they can be” by being pro-active in the lives of their children.
