GAMES are set to return to family friendly times in WA next year for the rebranded Suncorp Super Netball fixtures.

West Coast Fever will be treated to seven home games, split across three Friday nights, three Saturday nights and one Sunday game, including four blockbuster clashes at the club’s new home venue Perth Arena.

Netball WA chief executive Simon Taylor said member and fan feedback was used to shape the schedule.

“We certainly listened to the feedback of our members and fans from this season around game times and worked hard to ensure they would be the biggest beneficiaries in what shapes as a landmark year for our game,” he said.

Fever will open their home game campaign in round three with a Friday night clash against the Queensland Firebirds at Perth Arena on March 3.

The West Coast side will also face traditional rivals the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Melbourne Vixens as well as the fresh faced Magpies Netball.

The three remaining home games are scheduled for HBF Stadium against the NSW Swifts, Sunshine Coast Lightning and Giants Netball respectively.

In a netball world first, Fever have earmarked its round seven against the Adelaide Thunderbirds for a potential open-air game, with the club exploring its options to open the roof at Perth Arena.
