Opportunity for young artists

It is the deadline for applications for the Mundaring Bicentennial Scholarship Trust's annual awards.

In December each year, the Trust presents the Robert Juniper Award for the Arts, worth $9000, to help a promising young artist develop in any branch of the arts.

In addition, the Bob and Trish Juniper Art Prize of $1000 will be awarded to the best visual art candidate, who is also eligible for the main scholarship.

Applicant age limit is 35, and candidates should have a strong connection with the Shire of Mundaring, through residence, work or education.
