Anzac Day: Veterans and Veterans Families Counselling Service providing counselling and support for defence personnel

ANZAC Day can be an emotional time for veterans and their families.

The Veterans and Veterans Families Counselling Service (VVCS) provides free, confidential counselling and support for current and former Australian Defence Force members and their families.

Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) offers immediate help and treatment for any mental health condition, whether related to service or otherwise.

If you or someone you know is finding it hard to cope with life, call VVCS 24-7 on 1800 011 046 or DVA on 1800 555 254.

Veterans, their families and health care professionals can visit the At-Ease Online portal at-ease.dva.gov.au for details of online self-help tools.
