THE Avon Valley will be launched as WA’s first motorcycle-friendly region by Avon Tourism next month.

About $16,000 from the Wheatbelt Development Commission’s 2016 Community Chest Fund supported the project, with the remaining funds covered by Cully’s Yamaha. Local governments are backing the project with signage.

Avon Tourism chair Karen Dore said they encouraged all motorcycle riders to experience the Avon Valley and to give their regional motorcycle-friendly operators the opportunity to welcome them.
