Big boost for shed

The group was awarded the cash as part of its Our Neighbourhood program, which aims to build healthier and more inclusive communities.

Men’s Shed president Terry Little said: ‘The purchase of metalwork machinery will allow our members to help the local community via jobs such as repairing guttering, manufacturing tool boxes and other metalwork around town as called upon.’

The shed was one of many submissions chosen from 4600 applicants.
