The Your Investment Property Annual Suburbs Guide ranks Australia’s top 100 suburbs with the highest potential for capital growth and rental returns, and 11 suburbs in WA were identified as top spots in the growth and profit area.

The suburbs were selected based on affordability, capital growth potential, demographics and the local economy, as well as significant changes like infrastructure development and urban renewal initiatives that would make the suburb more appealing and push up demand.

Magazine editor Nila Sweeney said the annual suburbs guide was a valuable starting point for potential homebuyers looking to choose the right location for a profitable property.

“These are our picks for the areas with the best long-term investment prospects following extensive research and analysis by our experts,” Ms Sweeney said.

Helena Valley-based Aquila Real Estate agent Brad Errington said the area generated good interest and it was highly probable that the predicted growth and profit in Stratton would be realised.

“The area is a fantastic location with relatively new houses, but cheaper than neighbouring suburbs and there is good demand.

“It’s close to Midland and the new hospital facilities and there is good interest in houses up to $400,000,” Mr Errington said.
