Bin collection day change for 7000 in Mundaring Shire

Staff WriterHills Avon Valley Gazette

ABOUT 7000 properties in Mundaring Shire will have a different bin collection day from July 2.

Some residents may experience a one- to three-week gap in recycling bin collections during the changeover fortnight.

People affected by the service delay are asked to take recyclable excess to Shire transfer stations and present their property waste transfer station pass for unlimited access during the changeover period.

The new collection day comes after a Shire efficiency review of the green and yellow bin service.
