On Saturday, May 23, the shelter will hold its major fundraiser for the year Bogan Bingo.

Members of the public are encouraged to get a table together, dress up in bogan clothing and take advantage of the games, prizes, raffles and cocktails on offer.

People deemed to be the best bogan, with outfit ideas including donning a flannelette shirt and mullet, will be in the running for best King and Queen Bogan of the night.

All proceeds raised will go directly towards the Darling Range Wildlife Shelter.

Donations for prizes are welcomed.

There will be a cheap bar and BYO nibbles or pre-order a cheese/dip platter. No BYO alcohol.

Bogan Bingo will be held at Roleystone Hall, on the corner of Wygonda and Jarrah roads in Roleystone.

Doors open at 7.30pm, eyes down at 8pm.

Cost $25 per person.
