Bumps blasted

Sophie Gabrielle, Hills GazetteHills Avon Valley Gazette

The Greenmount resident and St John Ambulance paramedic said the bumps had not decreased the amount of local traffic in the area but had resulted in more vehicles going past local schools.

‘It has only redirected the traffic to use Innamincka Road, directly past St Anthony’s and Greenmount Primary school,’ he said.

‘There is no traffic calming devices between the schools to slow down or deter traffic from using Innamincka Road.

‘For the Shire to deliberately redirect traffic past these schools is just unbelievable.’
