Cancer Council yoga classes to start in Midvale and Glen Forrest

The Cancer Council’s Life Now six-week program guides participants through gentle stretching to help improve fitness, flexibility and overall wellbeing.

“This program has previously helped many cancer patients and survivors through their treatment and recovery,” a Cancer Council spokeswoman said.

People with a cancer diagnosis within the past two years or those undergoing or who have completed cancer treatment are eligible to sign up.

The 12-week program starts on May 19 with classes run by an exercise physiologist.
