Cash prize entices kindy

The campaign, which runs next month, will have $5000 donated to the community group that secures the highest number of votes for their project.

Toodyay Kindergym supports children’s development and runs each Friday of the school term at the Toodyay |Pavilion.

President Claire Moore says the group operated through Playgroup WA and provided a safe, structured environment for children to explore physical activities.

‘Children swing, spin, balance, skip, climb, throw, crawl and jump their way through activities and the set-ups change weekly to maintain their interest,’ Ms Moore said.

‘It also provides adults with the opportunity to meet other parent or caregivers, to share ideas and information around parenting and play and creates a support network.’

Ms Moore said winning the $5000 prize would help the group to buy play equipment.
