Cinema Under Starlight just the ticket for family fun

Shire President David Lavell said the Cinema Under Starlight program had proved popular once again.

More than 550 people turned out to see Oddball earlier this month while Angry Birds, shown in Glen Forrest last weekend, drew a big crowd.

TMNT: Out of the Shadows (PG) will screen on February 4 in Mt Helena followed by Zootopia (PG) on February 11 in Wooroloo.

A limited number of free ice cream and coffee vouchers are available at each event, with local community groups selling food and refreshments.

To round off a good night out, bring a picnic, a blanket or a chair.

Mr Lavell said Lotterywest, Linley Valley Pork and Acciona Trility Joint Venture, which operate the Mundaring treatment plant, supported the event.

Gates open at 6pm and the films begin about 8pm.
