Comfort Quilts Against Cancer to fundraise at MiLi’s Market

Lynn GriersonHills Avon Valley Gazette

MORE than 40 stallholders will contribute to a fundraising event for the coffers of a charity providing patchwork quilts to cancer patients.

The Swan Italian Sporting Club will host MiLi’s Market in Middle Swan, from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, April 23.

Comfort Quilts Against Cancer’s Bronwyn Dunn said the patchwork quilts they made comforted people having chemotherapy throughout Australia.

She said there would be children’s activities on the day including go-cart rides, airbrush tattoos, pony rides and a demonstration by Midland fire fighters.
