The state-of-the-art project is in round two of the Government’s National Stronger Regions Fund.
Assistant Minister to the Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack said the Government is committing $2.1 million towards the project, which would boost local jobs and improve community infrastructure.
Pearce MHR Christian Porter said the project was identified as a priority for infrastructure in Northam.
“The new St John Ambulance office and depot at Northam will be better equipped to service residents in surrounding areas,” he said.

St John Ambulance WA chief executive Tony Ahern said the facilities would be funded equally with the government and St John Ambulance WA, both providing $2.1 million.
