Do it in a Dress: Midvale staff to donate part profits to One Girl charity

Lynn GriersonHills Avon Valley Gazette

DO it in a Dress is an initiative to help fund an education for girls living in Africa.

Staff at Green Life Soil Co in Midvale will join in the fun again and donate part profits from this weekend’s business to One Girl charity.

“Last year, we raised enough money to provide a life-changing education for three girls,” business co-owner Linda Mitchener said.

The garden centre also celebrates 15 years in business on Saturday to coincide with WA Small Business Day.

“With nearly half the jobs in WA provided by small businesses, they are vital to the economy and we ask people consider the impact they have when choosing where to shop,” Ms Mitchener said.

“We are hoping our Do it in a Dress on October 29 and 30 combines the ethos of ‘think globally act locally’ this year”.
