Donated supplies a big help

Staff at the store helped deliver much-needed supplies to the many displaced horses held at both the State Equestrian Centre and Gidgegannup Showgrounds.

Manager Jill Fowles said the store had donated more than $1500 so far to ensure horses were looked after properly.

‘Some people just had to leave so quickly and you can’t think of everything you need to bring in that situation,’ she said.

‘When we heard about the fire we were very worried, so we gathered some things together and distributed them out there.’

Hay bags, medical supplies, fly spray, halters, lead ropes and feed buckets were among the items donated.
