Festival pulls crowds

Staff ReporterHills Avon Valley Gazette

Near-record crowds filed into Stirling Park and Duidgee Park to sample food from around the world, as well as enjoy entertainment and boutique beer and wine from WA.

Spectators made use of the excellent vantage points at the parks, watching and cheering as powerboats and kayakers raced past on the Avon River.

Children were kept entertained with pony rides, free bouncy castles, face painting and balloon twisting that ran throughout the day.
