ALL roads will lead to York this Sunday, October 28.
The Wheatbelt town will be the focal point for the popular All Ford Day.
Up to 500 Fords of all types, shape and age will line up in Avon Terrace and adjacent streets and their owners and their families and friends will be there to admire them.
All Ford Day attracts the best of Ford with some models valued at up to $400,000.
The York Ford rally will raise funds for local charities and service organisations. Last year, for example, the Fords raised money for the York Ambulance which had been crippled by fire.
Lifeline also benefited with an All Ford shipment of ergonomic chairs.
The Shire of York is supporting All Ford Day and numerous service organisations are helping with the management of the vehicles on the day.
There will be support entertainment and cafes and other food and beverage shops will be open.
All Ford Day chairman Paul Lloyd expects car owners to be out in force.
“Ford is arguably the best known of the many traditional automobiles in the world,” he said.
“That’s why cars from all over the South West and Wheatbelt will be in attendance.”
