A FORRESTFIELD man (34) and a Padbury man (47) allegedly possessed cannabis and 2g of methamphetamine when searched by police in Moondine Drive, Wembley, on June 19.
“We are targeting crime hotspots, and the street was identified as an area,” Senior Sergeant Julie Foley said.
Police will allege they saw drugs in a car occupied by the men, and a subsequent search of both and the car found the drugs, Medicare and other credit cards, drug scales and stolen number plates. The Forrestfield man was charged with possession of methamphetamine and unlawfully obtained property. The Padbury man was charged with possession of cannabis.
Both will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
