Forrestfield P-plater charged with drink driving after car hits house

A P-PLATER will face charges of drink driving after losing control of her vehicle in Forrestfield in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The 19-year-old Forrestfield woman was driving a Hyundai Excel south along Hawtin Avenue when she lost control as she attempted to negotiate a corner about 2.45am.

Her car hit a fence before coming to rest against the wall of a house on Camellia Loop.

The woman was taken to hospital where she allegedly provided a positive alcohol reading.

Police will summons the teenager with excess alcohol of 0.05 and driving contrary to P-plate rules.

She will appear in court at a later date.

The house was not damaged in the incident.
