Bruce HuntHills Avon Valley Gazette

TRACTOR enthusiast Willie Young is pictured preparing one of his tractors for display at the 70th Gidgegannup Show next weekend.

He plans to exhibit six of his lovingly restored tractors including this 70-year-old Ferguson TEF 20 diesel to coincide with the show’s anniversary.

The 75-year-old farmer’s son from Scotland, who lives in Lesmurdie, became involved with tractor restoration by chance, long after his father sold the farm.

The show, from 9am to 7pm on Saturday, October 29, will include displays of art, craft, wines and other attractions in the main hall and pavilion with cattle, goats and poultry in the animal pavilions
