PIPER Evan Peart will be among the young musicians to perform tomorrow at the Anzac Day service of Gooseberry Hill Primary School.

The Head Boy will accompany the school orchestra and perform a duet with an adult piper.

Further performances will be presented by the school choir and a drum troupe.

More than 30 students and teachers spent a day rehearsing for the occasion over the weekend.

Each student will bring a flower to the service and children will lay wreaths made by parents and teachers.

Some students will wear family service medals, while those who belong to Scout and Girl Guide troupes will be in full uniform.

Federal MP Ken Wyatt and WA Minister for Culture and the Arts John Day are expected to attend the morning service.

P&C member Helen Botica said the event was open to the local community and many families would be present.

Morning tea will be served after the 9.30am service.
