The busy road was again in the spotlight last week after a tragic crash that killed a Morangup mother and her two children.

Jess Seager and her sons Jayden (6) and Cody (3) died when their Toyota Landcruiser collided with a truck outside the Noble Falls Tavern about 8.40am July 31.

Gidgegannup Association chairperson Sally Block said at the meeting that the association had asked the State Government to conduct an immediate safety audit of the road and allocate funds to upgrade it.
