Ellenbrook Girl Guides Donate to Family Violence Victims

The teenagers aged from 14 made sets of female comfort packs and filled them with essential toiletries donated by the public.

Ellenbrook Girl Guide leader and co-ordinator Michele Thorne said her daughter Courtney was among the girls involved in the project.

“The girls asked people to donate toiletries instead of sweets for Halloween last year,” Mrs Thorne said.

The comfort bags were presented to Koolkuna domestic and family violence services chief executive Robyn Fitall for distribution locally last month.

Women’s Health Care Place general manager Patsy Molloy thanked the girls for their considerable time and effort.
