Hasluck MHR Ken Wyatt raises questions over Roe Highway and Kalamunda Road intersection overpass costs

THE construction of an overpass at the Roe Highway and Kalamunda Road intersection has been estimated by Main Roads WA to cost $86 million.

How does the ALP (which has $43 million) expect the rest of the project to be funded?

The completion of this project will require a similar commitment from the State Government and the Shire of Kalamunda. I am sure those discussions haven’t occurred.

The Turnbull Government has invested $6.3 billion in WA as part of an unprecedented transport infrastructure package.

This includes $490 million towards Forrestfield Airport Link that will greatly increase public transport options for Hills residents.
