High Wycombe: Circus Joseph Ashton rolling out celebrations for World Circus Day

World Circus Day will be celebrated on Saturday, April 15 at noon under the big top with a host of family entertainment and prizes up for grabs.

During the celebrations there will be a panel interview with the Ashton family performers, a dog training demonstration with Dante Ashton and a dance troupe performance. The regular show will start after the celebrations and three lucky families in the audience will win an all access backstage tour after the show.

World Circus Day is held on the third Saturday of April every year and celebrates circus arts and culture. This year marks the 8th anniversary of the international celebration of circus communities around the globe.

For 168 years, the Ashton family of acrobats, animal trainers and trapeze artists have entertained Australian audiences making it the oldest continuously-run circus in Australia.
