Hot Wheels hit road for kids

The Bash will kick off in Sydney on August 16, with up to 600 cars taking part in a special Harbour Bridge crossing.

The epic event will have the Bashers travel through NSW, Queensland and into the Northern Territory before finishing at Tennant Creek on August 26.

The event supports the charities Variety Caring for Kids, Variety Future Kids and Variety Freedom.

On their journey, Bashers will visit communities and schools to help children with special needs and their families.

‘It’s an adventure of a lifetime,’ Mr McGuire said, who is embarking on his fourth Bash.

The Variety Club Bash has raised more than $21 million since its inception in 1989.
