Two women entered a newsagent on Strelitzia Avenue about 3.15pm and while one distracted a store employee, the other stole a black iPhone 6 mobile phone from behind the counter.

Meanwhile, Midland police are searching for two men who broke into a Beechboro house and stole a wallet on the kitchen table overnight on September 7.
They used credit cards from the wallet at stores in Ellenbrook and Midland.
