Indigenous entertainer Phil Walleystack to headline Forrestfield’s Corymbia Multicultural Festival

LOCAL Indigenous entertainer Phil Walleystack will be the headline act of the annual Corymbia Multicultural Festival on Saturday.

Walleystack, who grew up in Northam, is one of Australia’s top didgeridoo players who draws on his culture and life experiences to deliver powerful performances.

His first song, Strong, was nominated for the West Australian Music Industry Association’s 2009 Song of the Year Award in two categories.

Walleystack backed this up by winning the prestigious Naidoc Artist of the Year in 2011.

The Festival runs from 2pm to 8pm at Hartfield Park in Forrestfield.
