Investigators still trying to piece together circumstances of weekend’s fatal crashes

POLICE are investigating the death of a 46-year-old Girrawheen woman in a fatal crash in Toodyay on Sunday, July 3.

She was riding a motorcycle west along Julimar Road in West Toodyay about 3.50pm when it ran into the rear of a four-wheel-drive vehicle being driven in the same direction.

The bike caught fire and the 4WD rolled on to its side on the opposite side of the road. The rider died at the scene, while the driver suffered minor injuries. Call 1800 333 000 with information.
