THE Kalamunda SES is looking for more volunteers and will host an open day on Sunday, February 5.

The volunteers are involved in emergency storm damage repairs, missing person searches, firecrew support and general rescue.

“When not providing emergency support we maintain our skills through camps, socials and SES competitions,” acting local manager Cynthia Coventry said.

“Our members are enthusiastic and work together to solve problems on call-outs. You’ll be trained in first aid, search and rescue, chainsaw operations.
