Thousands hit Chidlow for Trek the Trail

The event was cancelled the previous two years because of severe weather warnings.

“This year we were lucky to be able to show off Lake Leschenaultia as people walked and cycled from Chidlow,” Shire of Mundaring president Helen Dullard said.

“For the first time we also had runners participate in the event.

The free annual event encourages people to walk, cycle or run along a section of the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail.
