Local RSPCA helps Perth

Joan David, president of York RSPCA, said the Perth RSPCA was struggling for funds.

‘They will decide where the money needs to go,’ she said.

The York branch is now organising a Million Paws Walk for the town, to be held on May 19.

‘Our branch is very successful at raising funds and we are completely run by volunteers,’ she said.

The York Auxiliary is always looking for more volunteers and is encouraging anyone interested in becoming a volunteer to visit the shop.

The RSPCA shop, at 76 Avon Terrace, is open every day from 10am until 3pm.
