MAJOR Crash officers are seeking witnesses to a crash in Wooroloo that claimed the life of a man on Saturday.

Police said the 30-year-old was driving west on Great Eastern Highway about 7.50am in a red Toyota RAV4 when it collided with a green Mitsubishi Triton ute travelling east. He died at the scene.

The ute was towing an enclosed furniture trailer.

A blue Holden Cruze travelling behind the RAV4 avoided hitting the ute and the female driver was not injured.

A woman passenger in the RAV4 was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

The 29-year-old man driving the ute was injured and also taken to Royal Perth.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen ute towing the trailer or the red RAV4 before the crash. Call 1800 333 000.
