More than 180 people turned out to the banquet ” dressed in gowns or as knights and jesters ” at York Mill on November 2.

Entertainment included traditional music by The Ferrymen and soloist Karina McRoberts, displays of swordsmanship and general merrymaking by the masterful House Darksun and a spectacular fire show by Michael Speranza.

A medieval feast was served, including rustic breads supplied by Pert’s Pantry, and managing director John Langton said that no one went away hungry.
