MIDLAND detectives are investigating a bottle shop raid and car fire in Middle Swan just after midnight.

A 25-year-old Lockridge man will face two charges in Midland Magistrates Court today and police are seeking information about two other men.

Police officers went to Dance Drive after reports of a silver Kia Sportage acting suspiciously in a carpark.

They will allege the driver of the vehicle drove at the front roller doors of a bottle shop and the car became impaled on bollards.

Police said the driver failed to reverse the vehicle several times and it was set alight.

The car was engulfed in flames and the fire spread to the shop front.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services extinguished the fire.

The two men who ran from the scene are described as aged about 25, dark skinned and of heavy build.

One man wore a black T-shirt, black baseball cap and black shorts, and the other wore a red T-shirt with a white stripe to the side, black shorts and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
