A MAN who allegedly assaulted and injured his female partner is due to face court next month.

Jake Williams appeared in Midland Magistrates Court yesterday accused of aggressively assaulting his partner and causing bodily harm during an altercation between the couple in July.

Police charged the 29-year-old with unlawful assault and thereby did bodily harm with circumstances of aggravation, and criminal damage or destruction of property over the July 29 incident.

Upon the request of Mr William’s lawyer, Magistrate Martin Flynn adjourned the matter until September 11 in Midland Magistrates Court.

On the same weekend in July, Mundaring Police charged another man and a woman with family violence offences.

Police who were called to an incident in Mahogany Creek charged a 45-year-old-man with common assault.

He is summonsed to appear in court on August 16.
