MIDLAND detectives hunting a second man over the shooting of a teenager in Midvale are warning the public not to approach him.

They want to interview 25-year-old Harlee Dinsdale, of Swan View, about the shooting of Jake Turner (19) outside a property in Ferguson Street at lunchtime on Tuesday last week.

He is described as fair skinned, 188cms tall with a slim build, black hair and blue eyes and he may be driving a 1999 silver Holden Statesman sedan, registration number 1DVM 342.

Police said he could be in possession of firearms and anyone who sees him or the vehicle is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police already charged a 37-year-old man over the attack where Mr Turner was shot in the thigh.
