“This is second in the series and is called Working Smarter and Getting it All Done,” Cr Wainwright said.

“Our workshops aim to support local volunteers and their organisations in running effective, efficient and valuable volunteer programs.”

Midland Guildford ward councillor Daniel Parasiliti said the workshop would focus on daily organisation and time management tools and systems.

“It will include tips on how to get to ‘inbox zero’ and a demonstration of how Wendy runs her workflow,” he said.

“Participants will also begin to design their own personalised system to help them work more efficiently.

“Community groups provide so many services to our local community; it is great to be able to give them the tools to carry on their work in a more effective way.”

The free training event will be held at the Old Midland Court House on July 14 from 9.15am to 1.30pm.
