Minister on road safety tour

Staff writerHills Avon Valley Gazette

The tour was part of the Wheatbelt Highway Safety Review.

It included a community forum in Merredin, with more than 70 people talking to road safety experts and Road Safety Minister Liza Harvey.

The Minister said it was the first time relevant agencies had travelled notorious sections of WA roads in an effort to come up with a holistic solution to reducing crashes.

People can still contribute to the review by submitting comments on the project's online mapping tool, which will remain open until mid-August.
