COMMUNITY feedback has been positive since the introduction of mobile vendors in the Shire of Mundaring.
Councillors approved the new policy about six months ago after receiving requests from businesses to operate on shire land.
Mobile businesses have the advantage of travelling to customers in areas where their services are in demand and five vendors at the Sculpture Park have proved popular.

A regular visitor to the park is Mopoke Coffee owned by Kate Kendrick and voted Best Coffee in Perth by listeners to The Jam with Janelle and Sam on FM radio station 94.5.
“It means that we are fulfilling our mission to make the best coffee we can,” Ms Kendrick said. “It’s a big deal to us.”
Cr Daw said he anticipated businesses at other locations including Brown Park to experience similar success over summer and as the community becomes more aware of their presence.
“Mobile vendors build atmosphere and a community vibe.”
