SWAN View Senior High School students have been rehearsing for the annual school play, which is a variation on the Mr A’s Amazing Maze plays written by Alan Ayckbourn.

The students will tell the story of Suzy and her dog Neville who go on an adventure to recover the missing sounds that have disappeared from the neighbourhood, believed to have been stolen by their villainous neighbour Mr Acousticus.

The really fun part of the show comes in act two when the narrators interact with the audience and get them to choose the scenes performed, meaning each show will be different from one night to the next.

Seen in the picture above in rehearsals at the school are back row actors, Olivia Doherty (15) as Happy, Hayley Forrest (14) as Lazy, Joshua Martin (16) as Mr A, Sarah Sinclair (14) as Arrogant and Tanya Doogan (16) as Sad. In the front row are Skylah May (16) as Suzy and Julian Rowles (14) as Neville.

Performances this week are tonight and Friday and Saturday at the school with curtain rising at 7pm.
