A 14-year-old girl will be charged via summons after a window was smashed at a Perth high school today.
Police responded to an incident at Eastern Hills Senior High School in Mt Helena about 11.30am.
An Education Department spokesperson said: “Staff acted quickly to control one student who was upset.
“No other students were impacted.
“Police were called for assistance.”
A police spokesperson confirmed a charge would be laid.
“A window was smashed at the school and a 14-year-old girl will be charged via summons in relation to the damage,” he said.
Eastern Hills Senior High School principal John Dunning refused to comment on the incident.
The school was also in the news in September 2016, when windows were smashed by vandals.
