STUDENTS across the eastern region are encouraged to create wearable art costumes for a public performance.
Mundaring Arts Centre co-ordinates the Worn Out Art workshop project from April to October, and this year extra workshops are being offered in the City of Swan.
Artists in residence will hold sessions in primary schools, Midland Junction Arts Centre and The Gallery in Ellenbrook, starting next month with artist Mary Carbone.
The students will wear their creations at the Darlington Arts Festival in November.
A choreographer, hair and make-up artists will guide the students through their performance.
The workshops run from April 12 to 14 at Midland Junction Arts Centre and April 20 at The Gallery in Ellenbrook, with all materials supplied.
