MUNDARING police are seeking two men wanted in relation to handbag theft and fraud.

Sergeant Jeff Taylor said a bag containing mobile phones and a purse was stolen from a vehicle at Mundaring Weir on October 16 about 1pm.

A short time later two men used a credit card from the purse at a supermarket, fast food restaurant and liquor store in Mundaring.

The same men are believed responsible for stealing from another motor vehicle and subsequent fraud later that same day in Mosman Park.

Police have released CCTV images of two men they believe can help them with inquiries.

The first man is described as light skinned, medium build, 30-40 years, with facial hair. He was wearing a black cap, jacket over the top of a jumper and shirt, long dark pants and dark shoes. He has tattoos on his right hand and on the back of the neck.

The second man is described as light skinned, medium build and 25-35 years. He was wearing a white cap, blue top, grey long pants and black shoes.
