World-renowned Dutch duo Telmo Miel completed the project last weekend for the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority’s Railway Square Development before returning home.
Mural project manager Sherrie Wilson said the large-scale piece, at the Midland Railway Workshops, added vibrant colour and interest to one of Perth’s most historic suburbs.
She said she began getting “wonderful feedback” from the community about the work while it was still being installed.

Ms Wilson said the artwork commented on the importance of storytelling as a way of passing down history and knowledge.
